Wiggly Worm

I have this shirt which I really love. It is just a feel good shirt. It is a greenish colour and just hides everything I want it to hide. The other day I was wearing it at work and all day long I kept feeling as though I have worn the shirt at another time in my life or something. It was just a very serious case of deja vu. I tried not to think about it, but there was something in the back of my mind all day. Then it hit me. I remembered wearing something just like it when I was younger. This is my shirt that I enjoying wearing:

This is the outfit that I was remember wearing:

It was my wiggly worm costume when I was in pre-primary school. I was a segment of the worm, we walked in single file around the hall and wiggled. It was fun - I think. My mom made my outfit. We stuffed newspaper into it to make it poof at the bottom. Funny little memories!

Making Our Dreams Come True

There have been many occasions recently when the General Authorities have informed us of our roles and responsibilities. Mom is the care-taker in the family. She stays home and looks after the emotional side of things. She is the one that cooks, cleans and takes care of the family. Dad is the one that is out working. He brings home the bacon, takes care of the physical side of the family. Sadly in today's world it is hard to have mom stay at home and fulfill her roles and responsibilities.

Then there are situations like ours. Ben needs to focus on his studies so that he can make his dream come true about becoming an architect. So he goes to school full-time in the evenings, works part-time in the mornings (mainly for the great benefits) and takes care of our little bundle of demanding joy during the day. In order for us to survive and pay the bills, Casey needs to work full-time.

Differences that we have noticed is that Casey is able to cook dinner, wash the dishes and clean up around the house, while having Cynthia crawling on and around her feet and legs or in her arms. While Ben either cooks dinner, washing the dishes, cleans up or plays with Cynthia. There are no multi-tasking abilities. Dr. Lund stated the theory that the above example is a common trait for men and women. On the same note, when Casey leaves for work in the morning she drops Cynthia off at the baby-sitter, each morning it rips her heart out to know that she will not be able to spend the day with Cynthia and possibly miss the milestones in her life, or fulfill her divine design in the home. Meanwhile it does not bother Ben to be away for the day missing the milestones and the house work as long as he is able to provide for his family.

With that knowledge in mind, we have decided to do whatever it takes to make our dreams come true. Therefore we have start a business as independent distributors. We have products for: weight management, targeted nutrition, energy and fitness and personal care / outer nutrition.

We have been using the products for about week now and we can see a difference in our lives. Ben usually takes a bag of candy to work in the morning for the sugar and energy. He has been drinking an energy drink every morning before work and has not needed his bag of candy. Without the extra sugar from the candy, he is reducing his risk of developing any sugar related illnesses such as diabetes. Casey is trying out the weight loss program. Over the past week she has lost 2 dress sizes. We had to buy her new pants this weekend. She has not had any headaches this week either and lately she has been having very severe headaches.

We believe that these products are a good investment for anyone trying to improve their health or work from home. Please let us know if you are interested or go to our website links on the right.

Cynthia's New Toy

The video says it all!

Honey, you have a lizard like tongue! But I still love you!

I'm Gonna Get It!

Cynthia has been scooting for a few months and crawling for about 6 weeks. But she has the funniest crawl. She can crawl like any normal baby, but chooses not to. This is her excited "I gonna get it" crawl. It is so funny!

Cute and Funny Pictures for your Enjoyment!

Labour Day

Labour day was a very interesting day. Cynthia woke up at about 7 am, Ben fed her and then we all climbed back into bed. At about 9:20 am there was this extremely loud crack of thunder that woke us up. So we went to investigate. During that morning we had lots and lots of hail falling from the sky. Cynthia found this very interesting. She was mesmerized. She would just stair trying to figure it all out. It was cute. Once it had calmed down a bit, I got some hail in a bowl for Cynthia to play with. Check it out!

We also spent the day unpacking boxes. Cynthia found it fun to help. Here are some pictures of her helping unpack boxes with Ben and I. Just on a side note - she actually made some noise while trying to eat the bugle.

Unpacking

As most of you know, we moved the 1st of August. We have slowly been unpacking every weekend. We don't want to be squirrels and store things, so we are slowly getting rid of everything that we don't need. Cynthia has been helping when she is not taking a nap. I am also going through her clothing and putting clothes that are to small in a box. Last night Cynthia thought she would help Mommy unpack by unpacking her clothes.

Ouma: this reminds me of you telling me that I would unpack things and you would pack them away and then I would unpack them again. Cynthia was the same way. I would put the clothes back in the box when she got distracted and then she would turn around and unpack them again.

"Monkey Monkey Underpants"

Ben and I love to watch the Gilmore Girls. In the final season there was this episode that was called Santa's Secret Stuff. In this episode Lorelai was trying to write a character letter for Luke but was having some problems. Rory arrived to see how things were going and this was Lorelai's reply: "Because my brain is a wild jungle full of scary gibberish. I'm writing a letter, I can't write a letter, why can't I write a letter? I am wearing a green dress, I wish I was wearing my blue dress, my blue dress is at the cleaners, the Germans wore grey, you wore blue Casablanca, "Casablanca" is such a great movie, "Casablanca" the white house, Bush, why don't I drive a hybrid car?, I should really drive a hybrid car, I should really take my bicycle to work, bicycle, unicycle, unitrad, hockey puck, rattle snake, monkey monkey underpants." Ben's response to that was: "hey that is like my mind." We realised last night that Cynthia just might be the same way. Check it out!
