Biometrics

So I received a letter in the mail from USCIS. They were letting me know that I have a biometrics appointment set for April 4 at 10 AM. I am not entirely sure what biometrics are, but I know it means that I am one step closer to getting my work visa! YAY!!! Then I can work with no problems.

2 Months Old....2 Months Wise

Today was Cindy Kim's 2 months check up. She also got her shots. She is 10 lbs and 1.5 oz. 22 inches long with a head size of 38.5 cm. The doctor is very happy with her growth and everything else. Though she suspects that Little Cindy Kim might have a small cleft palate. She is sending us to the specialist to find out more. She says that it is so far back and so small that she is not sure, but she wants us to see the specialist just so that we know and the specialist can tell us more about it. So we will keep everyone updated about what happens with that. The doctor wanted to check all her muscles and make sure that all her joints are growing correctly. When Little Cindy Kim was placed on her tummy, she impressed us all. She hates being on her tummy and always puts up a fuss when we try and give her tummy time, but this time she wriggled and giggled. Little Cindy Kim climbed onto her arms and lifted her head and part of her back, she then proceed to lift her butt and her legs into the air and wriggled some more. Within a few seconds of being on her tummy she had managed to move herself from 0 degrees to about 45 degrees (if that makes any sense). Lets just say that the doctor was extremely impressed by this. After the doctor left she said that she was sending the nurse in to give Little Cindy Kim her shots. While we waited for the nurse she fell asleep across Ben's arm like she was sun-tanning on her grandfathers yacht. One of her shots was a liquid that they gave her to drink. She was very happy to just suck it down - the blue murder screams started when she got stuck with a needle (her mother's child). She was so mad that her screams became silent screams between gasps for air. Then Ben picked her up and she was perfectly content like nothing had happened. She is a baby of many different faces.

Morning Routine

Lately Little Cindy Kim has been establishing her own morning routine. This is how it goes...

Wake up between 2 - 4 AM for a clean diaper and some warm milk. Then Ben leaves for work. She goes back to sleep for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours and starts to stir. She then riggles out of her blankey cacoon that she is wrapped in and starts to cry. I then pick her up, re-wrap her and try to get her to go back to sleep. After a while she goes back to sleep ONLY if she is cuddled with me in bed. If I try and move her she wakes up and cries. Having her in bed with me makes me a light sleeper and any little move she makes, my eyes pop open to see if she is okay. 7:30 rolls around and she wants a clean diaper and some warm milk again. I manage to keep her asleep until 8/8:30. I change her and feed her and now she is awake and will not go back to sleep. Her eyes are heavy and she keeps yawning - but does she sleep? NO! Ben gets home about 9AM. He showers and takes her. She falls alseep instantly in his arms as they both cuddle up for a morning nap. Will she go to sleep for me? NO! She is turning out to be Daddy's Little Girl!

Update as of today

I was going to post an update last week, but then Ben and I got sick so we have spent the last week trying to recover. The update goes as follows:

Ben:
Well, he has been sick with the flu and a fever, but he is doing better this week. Last week he never went to work at all. He is also looking at a job in Moses Lake, so there might be a chance we would be moving there in April once I graduate.

Casey:
I am finishing up my last semester - exciting! I had my six week check-up on Monday. My doctor gave em a clean bill of health and I am also 4 lbs lighter than I was when I first went to the doctor last July. Two weeks ago I had an accounting test in my class. I got my results back this week - 104%. I have no idea what I did. Accounting is very confusing!

Cynthia:
At her last doctors appointment, she weighed 8 lbs. She can also hold her head up, and balance sitting up without assistance. She has started to smile and is spending more time awake. She has also learnt to sleep 7 hours at night. She is amazing!

So that is the basic update of our lives.
